We understand that you’re busy. Juggling ten things at work. Maybe you have kids and they need to get to practice… or your “fur baby” has a vet appointment. Grocery shopping needs to get done. Laundry. Cooking. The list never ends (I’m getting anxious just thinking of what’s still on my to-do list). The last thing you want to do is battle with the crazy drivers on the I-35! Well, you don’t have to anymore. Sure, there are plenty of great health professionals in Austin but no one else has a fully equipped mobile clinic with all the tools needed to get you back to doing the things you love. We can treat you inside the mobile physical therapy clinic. We can treat you inside your home. We can treat you in the parking lot of your workplace. We can treat you at a local park. We’ll go where we’re needed so that you can concentrate on one thing, getting better!

Forever Forward Physical Therapy Treatment Approach & Philosophy

We’re here to get you better as quickly as possible. To achieve that we have to do things a little differently. One-on-one treatments with a Doctor of Physical Therapy for 60 minutes. You won’t be handed off to a tech or an aide and your therapist won’t be juggling multiple patients at the same time. You get our undivided attention. We even limit our caseload. That means the number of patients we accept is limited and that allows us to dedicate time outside of the visit to plan, adjust, and research our treatment.

Our friendly and patient therapists work with you as a team to accomplish your goals. We can achieve those goals in a number of ways but Manual Therapy is one of the key aspects of any visit. Manual therapy can be used for a number of things such as to help relax muscles, mobilize joints, inhibit overactive muscles, stimulate muscles that are underactive, and improve a joint’s range of motion. Manual is also important because it’s not something you can do on your own. We’ll prescribe and teach specific exercises that you can do at home on your own time. Our holistic approach considers you as a whole because stress, sleep, and diet can play a significant role in your recovery and overall health.

Of course your part, home exercise is extremely important. We’re a team and both have to do our parts. I’m a firm believer that a strong body is a resilient body. I use the term strong loosely in that I don’t want you to think you need to be a bodybuilder or strongman contestant but your body should be able to express itself to its full capability. We want to get you back to doing the things you love, pain-free, and if you want, continue on to become the best version of yourself!

What We Do Different

Physical Therapy First

Let’s start with why you’re here; likely one of these reasons:

  1. You’re in pain (we can help with this)
  2. You want to improve performance (we can help with this)
  3. You want to prevent future injury (we can help with this too)

When someone has pain or an injury, the first thing they do is rest. Sometimes that will work, but unfortunately, sometimes it doesn’t. For some, rest isn’t an option because they have an active job, are training for a marathon, or have children that need to be cared for.

If rest doesn’t work most people will visit their physician who may recommend more rest, pain medications/injections, or even surgery. Some may rely on a personal trainer or massage therapist (neither of which has the training or legal scope of practice to diagnose/treat injuries) and end up in worse pain.
